We learn first two verbs first from this post. And we learn how should we conjugate them. If for spoken Farsi, it is better transcribed in Roman script rather than being read in Perso-Arabic script. Because the way Iranian pronounce vowel "a" is a bit different to other people.
raftan (رفتن) - to go
man reftem (من رفتم) - I went
to refti (تو رفتی) - you went
o reft (او رفت) - he/she went
aan reft (آن رفت) - they went
maa refteem (ما رفتيم) - we went
shoma refteed (شما رفتيد) - you went
aanhaa reftend (انها رفتند) - they went
neveshtan (نوشتن) - to write
man neveshtem (من نوشتم) - I wrote
to neveshti (تو نوشتي) - you wrote
o nevesht (او نوشت) - he/she wrote
aan nevesht (آن نوشت) - it wrote
maa neveshteem (ما نوشتيم) - we wrote
shomaa neveshteed (شما نوشتيد) - you people wrote
aanhaa neveshtend (آنها نوشتند) - they wrote
as a mean of exercise, try to conjugate ourselves these verbs into simple past tense:
1) deedaen (ديدن) - to see
2) baestaen (بستن) - to close
3) shekaestaen (شکستن) - to break
