Forming Simple Past Tense Sentences

Salom!

To form a sentence in Farsi, we need to know what are subject, object and verb. Subject are usually those who perform the verb, while object is the victim of the verb of the subject. Now how do we perceive the sentence in Farsi?

In Farsi sentences, it is arranged as subject + object + verb. For example man der raa bastam من دررابستم. The object in the sentence must be followed by a suffix which is raa را. This is for simple past tense sentence.

examples
I closed the door - man der raa bastam
You closed the door - tu der raa bastii
He/she closed the door - uu der raa bast
It closed the door - aan der raa baest
We closed the door - maa der raa basteem
You (pl.) closed the door - shomaa der raa basteed
They closed the door - aanhaa der raa bastand, atau eeshaan der raa bastand

Try to substitute the object place of
dar (door) with panjereh (window) but don't forget to include the suffix raa.

For verb we might want to substitute the place of
bastan بستن (to close) to deedan ديدن (to see) but with the conjugation according to pronouns.

Other nouns for object

Table - ميز meez
Glass - ليوان leevaan
Book - کتاب ketaab

Remember the
raa suffix after these objects. How about new verbs?
To clean - تميزکردن tamiz kardan
To wash - شستن shostan
To open - بازکردن baaz kardan

Gud luck especially to myself ;)
