In this post, I am just using the first dialogue model. But new words will be added in the dialogue. It is in the situation where two persons meeting each other and saying hi.
One is a guy and the other is a lady. When we address people in English, it would be Mr or Miss. In Farsi it is Agha and Khanum.
Ali: Salom! Man Ali hastam, ve shoma?
Farida: Salom! Farida hastam.
Ali: Shoma khoob hastid, Farida khanum?
Farida: Mamnoon, khoob hastam. Shoma khoob hastid, agha Ali?
Ali: Mamnoon, khoob hastam. Khooda hafez!
Farida: Khooda hafez!
When leaving, we can say Khooda hafez which means may G"d protects you. In Urdu, it is the same I guess. Khooda means G"d. It is almost in common with bye but it is with different literal meaning and cultural background.
